Goals:
Thinking back on my week, I realize I didn't reach my goals. The strange thing is that I feel like I was very responsible this week anyway. Even though I didn't exercise every morning like I planned nor did I decide which app to use, I still had lots of other responsibilities that I met. One of the bigger ones was Grace's Cookies. Our Student Council has worked hard to get this sale up and running and there was a lot of communication that needed to happen from teachers for it to be successful.
One another note, this one is not as positive, I forgot to go to my dentist appointment tonight! The dentist actually called me when I was already 10 minutes late and I was still at home. I had to reschedule for tomorrow evening. I was so embarrassed and this actually made me realize how important it is that I find a good app to help me keep my responsibilities straight. I will take time to test one our during Tet holiday and have it ready for my return.
Still on my goal, I didn't work out very much in the mornings this week. HOWEVER, I did do lots of exercise in the evening with my friends. I think the accountability partners for exercise are more helpful than doing a workout alone in the mornings. I think I realized I just need to make sure I have exercise already built into my weekly schedules. I do need to work on my weekends though as I decided to do my exercise so late in the evenings that I didn't even enjoy it!
Partner:
Now, Helen. Sweet Helen! She was such a great partner! She emailed me one morning to see if I ran AND she wrote me very thorough comments. We had similar, specific goals and even chose the same color for our CWI. Helen had a very insightful description from her CWI and it helped me learn and get to know her more. I did realize that we both asked each other questions on our blogs but never answered them; now I see that I need to give that opportunity in the morning for all partners.
I'm not sure I was the best partner for Helen, especially during this busy week before Tet. We never agreed how I could best help her reach her goal and I only asked her how it was going through comments and when we met during class time. She told me she met some of her goals which I think is a great step in her responsibility! I look forward to working with her in the future on other goals too.
