To add to the excitement of our Classroom Economy, you can now choose to invest your money into a company through the stock market. We've spent some time talking about what this means; use the video below to give you a reminder!
Below are images of the “Company Wheels.” Each company has a certain amount of risk involved in giving your money. You must take the time to evaluate the risk and choose which company (or companies) you would like to invest in. For some, you could earn lots of money or lose lots of money. For others, you will only earn a small amount of money but you will also only lose a small amount of money. Think carefully about this decision and post questions in the comment box.

Requirements for investing:
The Stock Broker will spin each wheel of the companies we invest in once a week. Whatever it lands on determines whether you lose or gain money. This will be taken in or out of your accounts. When you are ready to take your money out, you must inform the broker immediately.
Investing is risky. Some people have lost a fortune in the stock market while some people have earned their fortune it in. Regardless of what happens to you, know that you are getting to practice something while you're young (and with fake money) so you can better prepare yourself for adulthood.
Good luck, Investors!
