This week we are taking some time to focus on our mindsets. We decided as a class that a mindset is in fact a SET of ideas, beliefs, or habits we've formed. It became obvious after finding the definition of "fixed" that the two mindsets we were looking at were opposites.

This video also reassured us, however, that we can always change our mindsets. We will explore ways to do this during the week.

In this second video, we see how the brain is actually designed to be challenged and exercised, just like our muscles. When we learn a new sport, we have to spend hours, days, and weeks to gain new skills. This is the same for our brains. We need to exercise it often by reading, writing, listening, speaking, challenging, inquiring, wondering... it never ends!
