For your next graphing project, you can choose to work as an individual or a partnership of someone in your MinecraftEdu country. You should choose the information from the data we collected as a class that is most interesting to you and turn it into the best graph for people to read.
Along with your graph you will be creating a news letter/article that is related to the graph. The article can be specific to data from your country only, or it can be a world wide article talking about all the countries. It is very important to plan what you want your article to be about, and what data and graph would display appropriate information. You can make your graph online or on paper and take a picture to include in the article.
Your article can be an opinion piece, a persuasive piece, or an informative piece. It will be published on each person's Weebly. Winning articles will get published in our Minecraft World News website. See an example of graph and article below. The data was used from your previous graph project.

THE POOR STAY POOR We are all aware of wealth inequalities. We see poor people in our streets and occasionally donate food and money to try and help. But, how much do we really know about the poor communities around us? Are they able to move to a higher socioeconomic status? A recent survey seem to indicate the poor stay poor. | The average incomes were calculated for poor and middle class citizens in Russia, USA, Finland and Saudi Arabia. From this data, it appears that poor people struggle to increase their income, keeping them in this socioeconomic class. However, on average, middle class citizens are able to increase their income helping them live a more comfortable life. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? Unfortunately, this doesn't not seem to be the case in just a small area of the world. Countries in different parts of the world, with different economic systems are experiencing the same thing. Further investigation needs to be done to find out why the poor stay poor and what we can do to stop it |
